Casey Anthony Breaks Her Silence About Case, Acquittal & Life

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — Casey Anthony knows that much of the world believes she killed her 2-year-old daughter, despite her acquittal. But nearly nine years later, she insists she doesn’t know how the last hours of Caylee’s life unfolded.

“Caylee would be 12 right now. And would be a total badass,” she told The Associated Press in one of a series of exclusive interviews. “I’d like to think she’d be listening to classic rock, playing sports” and putting up with no nonsense.

But discussing Caylee’s last moments, the 30-year-old Anthony spoke in halting, sober tones: “I’m still not even certain as I stand here today about what happened,” she said.

“Based off what was in the media” — the story of a woman who could not account for a month in which her child was missing, whose defense involved an accidental drowning for which there was no eyewitness testimony — “I understand the reasons people feel about me. I understand why people have the opinions that they do.”

This was the first time Anthony spoke to a news media outlet about her daughter’s death or her years since the trial. Her responses were at turns revealing, bizarre and often contradictory, and they ultimately raised more questions than answers about the case that has captivated the nation.

It’s been almost nine years since Caylee went missing, and six since the circus-like Orlando trial that ended in her mother’s acquittal. The trial was carried live on cable networks and was the focus of daily commentaries by HLN’s Nancy Grace, who called her “the most hated mom in America,” and, derisively, “tot mom.”

“People found me guilty long before I had my day in court,” Anthony said.

  1. Jon Gossin says:

I was going to post this. I was so excited when I woke up and saw this on the news. She spoke so well and she looks Beautiful. I am so proud to be a supporter of Casey Marie Anthony.

Her parents spoke out too and George her father said his daughter hurt him once again. Screw Him. George – Go take a long walk off a short pier. Who cares about you. All I care about is Casey.

  2. Curt Taylor says:

Go Casey! All of us support you 100 percent.

I think this interview may be for a book Casey is writing. I hope so. I would be the first one to buy it.

  3. Lon Spector says:

Caylee would actually be 11. But aside from that, we can be thank full that
EVERYTHING we long predicited has come to pass.
There are no foolproof predictions but if we know what a person is made off, we can
predict the outcome. Casey is durable and sturdy. In truth, she’d make a fine mom-IF that’s
really her choice. The key word is CHOICE. When Casey makes a choice she STICKS to
the choice. These nine years have proven it. Casey has outlasted all her detractors. Why?
Because the detractors are ruled by vengence and hate. Casey is upheld by hope and love.
“Abide by faith, hope, and charity. And the greatest of these charity.”

If Casey Anthony is sleeping well Its about time by Dr. Keith Ablow

    Good Article.

  6. Jon Gossin says:

There is a 3 Part True Crime Story coming April 9th:

I don’t think I want to watch it though because they will most likely trash Casey. They interview her parents and the cops but not Casey. Cindy says some good things though. Cindy has changed a lot. She has gained a lot of weight and George has gained some weight too. I’m worried about what George will say.

  7. Lon Spector says:

I found out an astonishing thing last night. I Googled “Chaldean Numerology,” {Full Film} (FTF Films) They described what each number meant. Casey’s name reduces to number 5. The description they gave about number 5 is a spot on description of Casey! What is especially interesting is the comment that number 5’s INVESTIGATE what is of interest to them! Guess what Casey is employed as? How relieving to know that despite all attempts to destroy her, Casey is triumphing AGAIN! She is not only loved, but doing the work that she loves! In my book, that’s a happy person!

  8. Jon Gossin says:

    Casey on Steve Wilkos Show:

  9. Lon Spector says:

    Dear Jon:
I don’t believe that the woman on the show was Casey, but if you go to Casey’s presently
locked Twitter site, she says she played the role of a bully for a couple of days and it made her
I think Casey MIGHT be taking acting lessons in preparation for her upcoming reality series
with O.J. Having acting skills would help her. The show’s going to be a smash.
And no one-repeat-no one is going to stop her.

    • Jon Gossin says:

That is Not Casey on Twitter. The woman on the account is for Trump but Casey was recently seen
at an Anti-Trump Protest in Palm Beach, Florida. A reporter talked to Casey and she said she is against Trump’s policies. That same reporter got an interview with Casey. So, how could it be Casey on Twitter? The woman on Twitter is a Fraud and is not the real Casey.

  10. Lon Spector says:

I read today that Casey is WITH child and engaged to be married later this year.
I think it’s just talk but I could be wrong. I think she’s likely to wait for O.J.’s release before
she makes a decision like that! In any case Casey’s anthem should be the song
    “My Life,” by Billy Joe.

    • Jon Gossin says:

I think its just talk. I do know she lives with Pat Mckenna in Palm Beach, Florida I really hope she does
      that reality show.

My Life by Billy Joel is the perfect song for Casey. It just fits her perfectly. Everyone should just leave her alone. Let her live her life and they live theirs.

  11. Lon Spector says:

    Dear Jon,
There ARE phony twitter sites but the one I’m referring to has the initials “K.K.”
I don’t want to say the actual name because Casey might not want it reveled.
There is a Casey-hater on twitter named BLASS. She got into a running twitter battle with
Casey, but Casey locked down her twitter site. I don’t think it’s possible to retrieve Casey’s
old twitter posts if her twitter is locked down, but maybe you can uncover the postings she made
    to BLSS.
RE: Trump. When Casey’s site was unlocked, she sure sounded like a Trump supporter, and yes,
she DID protest Trump. But that was because of his stance on refugees. Casey has Venus in Aries
in the 9th house of foreign affairs. She is attracted to, and tolerant of foreign peoples.
She is courageous and stands up for what she believes in (Year Of The Tiger) so it makes total

    • Jon Gossin says:

That is not too smart on Casey’s part to put her life out on social media sites like Twitter and Facebook for three reasons:

      1. Why invite Hate like with that woman Blais or whatever her name is.

      2. People can act as her friend and reveal info on her. Remember, that video diary that was all over youtube?

      3. It can be used against her. If she hadn’t of put those party pics online they couldn’t use them against her.

So, I hope it is not Casey. Maybe, she could use a false name and not let people know it is her. I am only look out for Casey.

    • Hi Lon. Do you believe the Twitter kk was Casey?

  12. Lon Spector says:

Correction: The woman’s name is Blais

  13. Casey, I can not imagine how hard it has been going through what you have. If you have never been arrested you have NO IDEA exactly how powerless you are. If you say anything it makes everything worse. I Wish there was some way I could help you right now. You have been through so much already and it still is not over. Nancy Grace and all the other people who want to take away your right to be innocent until proven guilty should be ashamed of theirselves and if I could REALLY say what I wanted about them I’d probably be arrested. I really hope everyone learns from this and they see that real evidence is different from speculation by narcissists who think they “Know what happened!” or they sit back and try and tell everyone that they know what your thinking, which, we ALL SHOULD KNOW that it’s impossible to read someone else’s mind. I hope your doing well and hanging in there. If you want to talk or email you know you can. It doesn’t have to be about this case or anything else. I know it’s hard for you to seperate who you can trust from who you can not. If you send someone a message you do not know if the messages will end up on the 6:00 news. I just hope and pray you are staying sane and I hope you can move on from the witch hunt that has been your life for the last 10 years. Just remember there are people who care about you and want to see you do well and, honestly, kick dirt in the face of all the ticks, leeches and countless parasites who have done everything they can to absolutely suck you dry…I hope they CHOKE ON THE SHIT!!! We love you Casey….stay strong!!!

  14. Lucky Barnett says:

    Keep your head up

  15. Lon Spector says:

Dear Lucky, Jon, and all others:
I think Casey’s tribute song should be the official video of “She’s So High,” by Tal Bachman.
Despite the tightrope she’s walking, she always lands on her feet! Thank God.

  16. Jon Gossin says:

Eminem’s Cleaning out my Closet reminds me of Casey and her Father. I changed the words around a bit.

Casey: Hey Dad, Remember when Caylee died and you said you wished it was me?

Well, Guess what I am Dead. Dead to you as can be!!!

I’m sorry Daddy I never meant to hurt you or make you cry but tonight i’m cleaning out my closet.

  17. Jon Gossin says:

Casey doesn’t have to trash her Dad. Baez did it for her in his book. Remember George telling Casey to touch it and calling it the white mouse that sneezes milk. George didn’t even defend himself. Baez also said
George had intercourse with Casey 3 or 4 times a week.

That is out there for the world to read.

  18. Lon Spector says:

Casey’s enemies would like her to live a life of repression and frustration as summerized in
a song that was ironically released two days before Casey’s birth on March 19, 1986:
“No One Is To Blame,” by Howard Jones. A life of purgatory!
She’s going to prove them wrong! Her song is going to be “Have To Believe We Are Magic,”
    by Olivia Newton John!

  19. Jon Gossin says:

Casey Anthony Come On Get Happy (Happy Hour at a Bar)

  20. Jon Gossin says:

Recent reports are that Casey spends her days watching TV, playing on the internet, and being bored.”

But, her old foe Nancy Grace has some good advice and I hope Casey takes it. Because it just might change
    her public image.

“Bored is your own creation. Look around. Get your head out of your own life. Look at all the people who need help. All the volunteering you could do to make amends. Quit thinking of yourself.”

Grace adds, “Not only that, she could spend her time mending fences with her parents, who seem to me to be good and decent people that she threw under the bus. And maybe a little therapy with a professional would help. Those are a few ideas she could work on.”

  21. Lon Spector says:

I think public opinion about Casey is pretty firm now.
Most believe her to be guilty and will NEVER forgive her.
Other’s like myself, and I trust you, simply love the girl. Our reasons are manifold.
Not only is she beautiful, but she has plenty of charisma. She’s got that verve that women
born in The Year Of The Tiger have. Are you old enough to remember Natalie Wood?
She starred with James Dean in “Rebel Without A Cause.” She played Maria in “West Side Story.”
She was in “Gypsy.” She was a super-sexy and versitile actress. But like many born in the Year Of
The Tiger, she was used. She had tremendous passions that people took advantage of. It’s
kind of like the song “Temptation Eyes,” by The Grass Roots.
She inspires feelings of protection from her thousands of admirers. She SHOULD have been a star.
And I think she CAN be a Reality Star.

    • Jon Gossin says:

I love Casey and trust her no matter what. Rebel Without a Cause is before my time though. I will have to check it out.

  22. Jon Gossin says:

Just thought everyone would like to know the twitter account named Kisssykiss was just suspended for
violating twitter rules. Some people were saying it was Casey. But’ it’s not.

  23. Lon Spector says:

If Casey does read here, I would like to call her to a rock group from the 1960’s called
The Hollies. They did many wonderful songs like “Bus Stop,” “Carrie Anne,” Carousel,
“Stop! Stop! Stop!,” and “He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother.”
I bring them up because they are a very peppie, joyful, group and have some of the same
traits I detect in Casey. Casey would love to be positive and lively but the bullies won’t let her be.
Thankfully, some can see she is a child of God and deserves the same love everybody else

  24. Lon Spector says:

Casey should listen to music by The Hollies. Songs like “Bus Stop,” Carrie Ann,” and
“STOP! STOP! STOP! That will bring her up!

  25. missattempts says:

Casey should listen to music by the Hollies. It is beautiful and positive like she is.

  26. Jon Gossin says:

Cindy and George are losing their home to foreclosure and are in serious debt meanwhile Casey is living it up In West Palm Beach, Florida hanging out at bars, clubs and restaurants.

  27. Lon Spector says:

I believe in reconcillation IF it’s possible. No one lives forever, and nobody knows how
long they have. If there was a slim ray of hope that Casey could make peace with her
parents, I hope she takes it. Indeed, “Love trumps hate.” Casey’s tragic story is
instructional for the whole world. God will wipe every tear. Here’s to hoping that Casey will
have supportive friends and lovers to help bring joy into her life.

  28. Lon Spector says:

Only sinners need to be forgiven, and that means all of us.
Daughters HAVE forgiven fathers for abusing them, but it’s true, their father’s need to
fess up and show humility. It’s true George hasn’t done that yet.
Casey still has contact with Cindy and Lee. That’s quite understandable because Cindy and
Lee were born in The Year Of The Dog. Dogs like us ADORE Casey!

  29. I wish I knew how Casey is after Hurricane Irma. Anyone know? West Palm Beach was hit hard I heard.
I was in the hurricane too. I went up to Calhoun Georgia and now I’m back. No Damage. I was lucky.

  30. Lon Spector says:

If Casey stayed in West Palm Beach she should be safe. The Hurricane went up the west coast of Florida, in the Gulf of Mexico area, then into Georgia.
Casey is getting “realitive” protection from God. His plan for Casey is that she should live a realatively long and happy life. I suspect it’s going to begin with partnership with a released O.J. next month and a lucrative reality series. She will yet have more children, and the WHOLE WORLD will be watching them. You’re much to young to remember this, but in the original film “King Kong,” the showman named Carl Denim captures the giant ape King Kong. He plans to put Kong on display and knows he will reap a terrific box office. He says, “The whole world will say Kong, the eight wonder of the world!” When Casey and O.J. get together this fall, it WILL be like the eighth wonder of the world!

    • Thank U Lon Spector. I was worried about her. But, you always know just what to say.

Yes. God seems to be protecting her.

  31. Lon Spector says:

Read Casey signed for a lucrative book deal. Hope it’s more then just a rumor.
In any case, the Burt Bacharach song “Reach Out For Me,” is the most concise description
of what this blog is about.

  32. Lon Spector says:

Jon: Please Google the lyrics to song “Reach Out To Me,” and tell me if you don’t think the song is
a perfect encapsulation about what this blog is about!
I particularly like the Kathy Kirby version of the song, though many others have done versions of it.

  33. Jon Gossin says:

Read this. Both her parents are now saying Casey is mentally unstable. They also say they will sue Casey if she sells her story. What have they got to hide? Anyone? SJ?

  34. Lon Spector says:

    Dear Jon;
You and I have some kind of spiritual link with Casey. We love her unconditionally because we
are guided by God to feel that way. Notice how we always seem to know when something new
is going to happen with Casey. We stuck by her through thick and thin. This is because we love
her no matter what. We almost have a psychic link with her. We want to see her extolled.
You love her because you see her as an abused victim-a waif. I agree but also I detected GREATNESS
in Casey. I knew she’d be world reknown, almost like a Jackie Kennedy. Casey likes the image of a
Jackie Kennedy. The WHOLE WORLD will come knocking at her door!
Do you think it’s any coincidence that our names are so simular? Jon and Lon. Casey’s two most
up front supporters! It’s MORE then a coincidence it’s God’s will.
When Casey gets her show-AND O.J. The Kardashians-and all of the haters, will eat their hearts

    • I believe youre right. There is just something about her. I don’t quite what it is.

I can wait til she does her show with OJ. Yes I believe good things await her.

  35. Jon Gossin says:

I do love Casey unconditionally. There is nothing she could ever do to make me stop loving her. That is weird our names are just alike. Part of the reason I know what happens with Casey is I live in Florida where it all happened. She was on the news constantly but i wasn’t swayed by the hateful media. But, I do seem to know when something is happening with her.

  36. Lon Spector says:

I don’t know if your old enough to recall this, but there was I T.V. show called “Beauty And The
It took place in New York City in an underground world. People lived in the perfect society.
A monster-like creature named Vincent rescues a beautiful woman. He adores her. He becomes
her protector. They have a “symbolic” love affair because they are so insync with each other.
I wanted to find out what motivated Casey. I can only do this through Personality/Occult studies.
Sure, she’s beautiful and could get any man she wanted, but she was so… “singular,” is the word,
so “one-of-kind.” She has the qualities of a “star.” A person like Casey comes along once in 100
years. If someone has a shred of compassion, they shouldn’t bear to see such a work of art suffer.
Google the song “Lisa,” by Burt Bacarach.

  37. Lon Spector says:

    Dear Jon:
I just saw a documentary about a person who reminds me very much like Casey.
Please Google: Julie London Documentary-The Lady’s Not A Vamp.
Like Casey, Julie was born in The Year Of The Tiger. She was a perfect example of the allure
    of the Tiger woman.

  38. Jon Gossin says:

Casey has got her life back. She is dating and the guys are lining up.

She also goes around unnoticed. People leave her alone.

    I’m so happy for her.

  39. Jon Gossin says:

Marcia Clark ex-prosecutor of Oj Simpson is doing a show. She says she has proof Casey is Guilty. I will never believe Casey is guilty. She just doesn’t have it in her. The Trial proved that.

  40. Jon Gossin says:
  41. Jon Gossin says:

She is back to partying. TMZ caught her out at the local Pub.

  42. Jon Gossin says:
  43. Jon Gossin says:

Finally, a Documentary that says Casey is innocent on Oxygen channel. Case of Caylee Anthony.

  44. Jon Gossin says:

Jose Baez is now defending Rose McGowan an actress.

  45. Dear Casey i just wanted to say hello and I’m praying for you I never believed you killed ur daughter all i want you to do is stay the Way you are God Bless You My Sweet Child. My name is Rena Goins.

  46. Chuck Peebles says:

Always remember the great days. You are and will do great things with yourself! God bless.

  47. Jon Gossin says:
  48. Lon Spector says:

    Oh my God!
I was looking up what the number 1 songs in the country were on different people’s birthdays.
The number 1 song on Casey’s birthday of March 19th 1986 was “Sara,” by Starship.
In the offical video, the actress Rebbeca D’mornay plays Sara.
Rebbeca D’mornay was the subject of the song “Rosanna,” by Toto! Two “Casey-like” women.
For heaven’s sake, Casey deserved the stardom of these lively and wonderful women.

  49. Jon Gossin says:
  50. Lon Spector says:

The song “Madrigal,” by Andy Williams is relevant to Casey’s situation.

  51. Jon Gossin says:
  52. I sympathize with Casey. The system is a nasty thing to get caught up in. Things are not always as they appear and the media has a way of convicting people from the get go. I know this from my very own horrible experience. Continue to live your life and be the very best you can be Casey. Once you stop caring what others think you will truly free yourself!

  53. Jon Gossin says:
  54. Lon Spector says:

Hope what I read in the Daily Mail this morning is true.
It’s something we long predicted and hoped for! MORE power and success to Casey!

  55. Jon Gossin says:

Casey Anthony’s father George wants to Reconnect with her and say he forgives her and he is sorry.

  56. Lon Spector says:

“Ma Bell Amie,” by Tee Set is the song for Casey. It describes her perfectly.
    Google the lyrics.

    • I just did. It does fit her perfectly.

      • Lon Spector says:

“Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty! Free at last!
In honor of Casey’s victory, Google the song: “Promise Her Anything,” by Burt Bacharach/ Tom

  57. Lon Spector says:

Casey has our love and dedication wherever she goes in life, from now, till forever.
And whoever she goes with will be one lucky guy!
