Boycotting is a funny thing. All these people telling everyone to boycott Dr Phil’s forthcoming Season 10 Premiere (featuring George & Cindy) are wasting their time. It’s sods law that Dr Phil’s ratings will go through the roof when that show airs on September 12th, and very few people are gonna miss this 2-night special, irrespective of what they might be saying about it right now. Resistance is futile – and the same will apply to Casey’s first book or first interview when it eventually transpires.
Dr Phil’s ad revenue alone for that one show will be in the multi-millions – so paying a “high six-figure fee” into George & Cindy’s new fund is peanuts. All the poor grieving grandparents need to decide on is which of their various “funds” the $$$’s will go into. Decisions, decisions…
Following on from that, I thought it’d be a good time to replay a segment of video from “On The Record” (aired mid-July) – where Greta Van Susteren interviewed The Foreman from Casey’s trial, aka “Juror #11”.
When this first aired I think way too many people were still way too hung up on the Verdict – and they weren’t particularly bothered about anything else… but over the past few weeks there’s certainly been what you could call an upsurge of interest in the role George Anthony actually played throughout this whole tragic story. There’s no getting around the fact that George knows WAY MORE about what happened than everyone else put together – but we’ll have to wait and see whether or not Dr Phil is gonna call him out on that. I believe he’s dealt with a lot of shady characters on his TV show before, so he shouldn’t have any problem tackling George.
Here’s the video interview segment. It’s interesting to hear again exactly what The Foreman (and the rest of the Jury members) actually thought about George Anthony… including his selective memory… the infamous gas can testimonies… his endless cover ups… his tow yard performance… their suspicions of him being the murderer… and his overall demeanor throughout the trial.
